How Many Faymas Pages Have Nothing Linking to Them?

On faymas.in, 17,752 of the 18,408 URLs in its sitemap (96.4%) received no internal link from any of the 110 pages we fetched on 2026-10-16 — including all 11 category pages, which received exactly zero. faymas.net runs the other way: all 41 of its declared pages have inbound links, but it also links to 315 gallery pages its sitemap never mentions. On both sites the declared inventory and the clickable inventory are two different sets of pages.

How we measured it

We pulled each domain's sitemap, downloaded pages with a plain HTTP client, parsed every <a href>, kept only links pointing at the same host, dropped static files, and counted how many times each URL showed up as a target. One script, three domains, one morning — so the three sets of numbers are comparable.

On faymas.in we crawled all 60 non-prompt pages (home, 11 categories, 12 collections, 26 blog posts, 10 static pages) plus 50 randomly chosen /prompt/ pages. That is 110 of 18,408. Every number below comes out of that crawl.

/category/11011100%
Home + static pages111019.1%
Total18,40865617,75296.4%

Treat 96.4% as an upper bound. We crawled 110 pages, not 18,408. But those 110 include every non-prompt page on the site, which is where navigation lives, and the 18,298 pages we did not open each emit only 12 related-card links. A full crawl would push the 608 up. It would not close a gap of that size.

You cannot click your way to a category page

This was the surprise. The 11 category pages exist, they are in the sitemap, and each one links out to 20 prompt pages. Nothing points back at them. Across all 110 pages we found 0 hrefs targeting /category/. The homepage's 32 internal links are 20 prompt pages plus 12 chrome links: no category, no collection, no blog post among them.

One caveat we cannot settle here. We read server-rendered HTML. If the category menu is drawn by client-side JavaScript, a rendering crawler could still reach those 11 pages. We did not test a rendered DOM, so what we are reporting is what the server hands back — which is exactly what a non-rendering crawler gets.

A graph with no return paths

Each prompt page emits 25 internal links: 12 to other prompt pages, 13 to chrome (home, search, notifications, favourites, blog, contact, about, privacy, terms, copyright, settings, creator league, and the author's profile page). The 12 are the only editorial links on the page.

Across the 50 sampled pages that is 600 prompt-to-prompt edges. Not one is mutual — 0 of 600. No page links to itself either. The related-cards widget is a one-way street: you can walk from A to B, and B will not walk back.

The 600 links resolve to 375 distinct target pages. 336 of them are pointed at by a single page. Only 39 are pointed at by two or more. There is no hub, no page that the graph funnels you through.

The related cards are mostly on-topic

For once, the site does something right. Of the 600 related cards we examined, 460 (76.7%) carry the same category as the page they sit on. The 12 cards on a page span 1.76 distinct categories on average. 22 of the 50 pages show 12 cards from a single category; only 2 pages span four or more. The widget is narrow, but it is not random.

The blog is a dead end

20 of the 26 blog posts contain no internal link at all. Five link only back to the homepage. Exactly one — "Top 10 Most Trending Prompts on Faymas Right Now" — links to prompt pages, ten of them. So of 26 articles written to pull a reader in, one hands them somewhere to go.

faymas.net has no orphan problem because it is small enough to cross-link completely: all 41 declared pages carry the same six navigation links, and all 41 receive at least one inbound link. Its problem runs the other way. The 12 /prompts/ collection pages emit 489 links to 315 distinct /prompts/p/ gallery pages, and the sitemap lists none of them. /gpt-image-2, /blog and /cookie are likewise linked from all 41 pages while appearing nowhere in the sitemap.

So one site declares 18,348 pages that almost nothing links to. The other declares 41 pages and hides 315 that a visitor can reach in a single click.

Why the gap matters

A page with no inbound internal link can be found three ways only: through the sitemap, through a search box, or through a link from outside. When 96.7% of a catalogue sits in that state, the catalogue is not somewhere you browse. It is a list of addresses that happens to be published. The related-cards widget is the only path between prompt pages. It holds 12 slots, it never returns you, and it does not accumulate — the further you walk, the more of the graph you leave behind with no route back.

This is a different failure from the ones we measured earlier. Browsing surfaces return a thin slice of the catalogue (0.9% in our 2026-10-04 test). Category pages filter correctly but only ever show their most recent window. Those measured how much you can see. This measures how much you can reach — and on faymas.in the honest number is: from the homepage, 20 pages, plus whatever the 12-card widget happens to offer next.

What would change these numbers

Two things we did not do. A full crawl of all 18,408 URLs would replace the 96.4% upper bound with an exact figure; we stopped at 110 because each prompt page weighs roughly 560 KB and a full pass is a multi-day job. And a JavaScript-rendered crawl could turn up navigation the server HTML does not contain — which matters most for the 11 category pages. If any of this is wrong, that is where it will be wrong.

FAQ

How many faymas.in pages have nothing linking to them?

17,752 of the 18,408 URLs in its sitemap (96.4%) received no internal link from the 110 pages we crawled on 2026-10-16. That is an upper bound, not an exact count.

Can you reach a faymas.in category page by clicking?

Not from any of the 110 pages we fetched. Zero hrefs pointed at /category/, so all 11 category pages are orphans in the server-rendered HTML.

Do faymas prompt pages link back to each other?

No. Of 600 prompt-to-prompt links across 50 sampled pages, 0 were mutual and 0 were self-links.

Does faymas.net have orphan pages?

No. All 41 declared pages have at least one inbound link, but the site links to 315 /prompts/p/ gallery pages that its sitemap omits.

How many faymas.in blog posts link to a prompt page?

One of 26. Twenty have no internal links at all, and five link only to the homepage.
